Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Fold5 on July 26, and today we received a tip that it might cost more than last year’s Fold. The price in Greece for the 256 GB version will be €1,999, and when we account for the higher VAT in the Mediterranean country, the price of the foldable should be €1,899 elsewhere in Europe.
However, this is still €100 more than the Z Fold4 that launched with a €1,799 price tag last August. The same will happen with the 1 TB version, which will cost €2,299 in Greece and around €2,199 in the rest of Europe.

The Unpacked event is also going to be the debut stage for the new Galaxy Tab S9 series. The mightiest Tab S9 Ultra is expected to start from €1,399 in Greece, and we might experience an increase in pricing with the tablets as well. For comparison, the Tab S8 Ultra was introduced in February 2022 at €1,150.
The new tablet should come with a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel. It will keep its 14.6” diagonal with 2960 x 1848 pixel resolution and its thin 5.5 mm profile. It should have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset by Qualcomm, Android 13 for tablets, with the latest One UI on top.
We also expect to see a massive battery, 45W charging and probably improved cameras, although we doubt they will be used much on a device that is 32 cm tall and 20 cm wide.
